New Mexico is called "The Land of Enchantment", We have a lot of
sunshine and warm days. Many people in New Mexico still have
gardens and raise their own chili, including me. On the left
side of this painting you will see riestras, which are dried
red chilies...These when dry will be ground into red chili powder
and used to make red chili...
Below on the ladder are herbs drying, some will be used
for seasoning and others for medicinal purposes.
New Mexico is known for it's hot air balloon festivals...
In the sky you will see some balloons coming down..
