"he Watcher", she is your guardian angel, always watching for whatever the news is in your life, good she laughs and rejoices with you, sad she helps you deal with it and cries with you no matter what the news is, she will help you through it....
My name is Janis Tafoya..I live in Farmington, N.M., and have lived in this area most of my life.
I started painting after retirement and it has become my sole passion...
I love to paint, and use vibrant colors....I paint flowers the most
because I love the color, shading, blending and shapes...I also paint
landscapes, seascapes and am getting into fantasy more and more..
I am primarily a self taught artist..
My painting come from my experiences, feelings, and trials in life.
I am an emotional painter, painting from the inside out...I am a
'PAINTER OF EMOTION'.
When I paint it brings a feeling of peace to me.... My hope is that
this peace will transend my paintings and give all who view them also
a moment of peace, since for so many of us the world we live in is
not a very peaceful peace....Thanks for looking at my artwork.
